How to Chirp

1. Type **/chirp** in the message bar
2. Press **Enter**, and a pop-up will appear
3. Enter your lyrics, or get some help from ChatGPT
4. Press **Submit**

/**chirp** currently generates up to ~30 seconds of audio, so we limit prompts to 4,000 characters for the best results. Longer prompts may cause the model to omit parts of your prompt or hallucinate. Each generation includes two clips, which can take up to 2-5 minutes to generate.

Buttons

Once you’ve generated a pair of clips, the following buttons will appear:

🔁 Regenerate

Click 🔁 to regenerate a prompt. /**chirp** wil generate two more clips of the same prompt, which may have entirely different genres, vocalists, instrumentation, etc.

❤️ **Liking Clips**

Please like your favorite clips! This will improve discoverability in the server and help us improve future models. Click **❤️ 1** to star the clip on the left, and click **❤️ 2** to star the clip on the right.

⏩ Continue

Like what you hear? Click **⏩ 1** to continue the clip on the left, and click **⏩ 2** to continue the clip on the right. After you click ⏩ **1** or ⏩ 2, the /**chirp** pop-up will appear. Enter the lyrics you would like to follow your original clip, and press **Submit**. /**chirp** will generate an additional 20 seconds of music in the style of the original clip you’re continuing from. Click **❤️ 1** to stitch together the original clip with continuation on the left, or click ❤️ 2 to stitch together the original clip with the continuation on the right. ****You can repeat this process as many times as you would like by further continuing the last continuation in a chain, although quality may start to degrade after 5+ continuations. ****

🐦 **Tweet**

Click **Tweet 1** to tweet the clip on the left, and click **Tweet 2** to tweet the clip on the right. It will take ~10 seconds for the video to upload to Twitter. After that, the bot will message you the link to your tweet. It will display the video as a URL, but when you hit **Tweet**, your clip will display as a video.

The /**bark** command requires the prompt: and voice: parameters. Use the voice: parameter to select built-in voice presets or voice presets you've saved to your private library. If you select random for the voice: parameter, /**bark** will choose a new, random voice to deliver your prompt.

/**bark** generates 13-14 seconds of audio, so limit your prompts to 2-3 sentences of text for the best results. Longer prompts may cause the model to omit parts of your prompt or hallucinate.

Once a clip has been generated, you can interact with it in the following ways:

🔁 **Regenerate**

Generate variations of a given clip using the same text and voice.

💾 **Save Voice**

Save a given voice preset to your private library of voice presets for use in future generations.

🔽 **Download MP3**

Download a clip to your local device.

React with emojis to highlight the good 🔥, the bad 🥴 and the ugly ☠️. This helps improve discoverability in the server and help us improve future models.
